Sabrina Carpenter Brings Out Earth Wind & Fire at Lollapalooza

Not to be outdone by Olivia Rodrigo’s onstage collaboration with Weezer, Sabrina Carpenter pulled off her own surprise at Lollapalooza on Sunday night by bringing out Chicago’s own Earth, Wind & Fire. “I thought we could let loose and just groove,” Carpenter declared as she introduced the funk legends to the stage for performances of their classic hits “Let’s Groove” and “September.”

Carpenter is set to release her new album, Man’s Best Friend, on August 29th. In October, she’ll kick off a new North American leg of her “Short n’ Sweet” tour, with dates in in Pittsburgh, New York, Nashville, Toronto, and Los Angeles. Fans can get tickets here.
