This 1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SL spent most of its time in California prior to being purchased by its current owner in November 2021. It is finished in black over matching leather and is powered by a 5.5-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a black soft top, a removable hardtop, silver-finished 15″ Gullideckel alloy wheels, fog lights, a Becker AM/FM/cassette stereo, electric windows, central locking, cruise control, and automatic climate control. This R107 is now offered in New Jersey on dealer consignment at no reserve with the owner’s manual, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New York title.
The car is finished in black (040) and features a color-matched removable hardtop and a black convertible soft top. Additional exterior equipment includes quad headlights, fog lights, a power antenna, and chrome-accented bumpers and trim. Photos showing paint-meter readings are included in the gallery.
The silver-finished 15″ Gullideckel alloy wheels are mounted with Goodyear Assurance tires. The car was factory equipped with power steering, a fully independent suspension, and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. The steering assembly was repaired in August 2021, and the brake fluid reservoir was replaced in December 2021.
The cabin features two bucket seats upholstered in black leather (271) along with a matching center console and door panels. Interior features include a Becker AM/FM/cassette stereo, electric windows, central locking, cruise control, and automatic climate control. The air conditioning system was recharged in April 2024.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 170-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel economy, and fuel level. The Carfax report notes that the instrument cluster was repaired in June 2014. The six-digit odometer shows 44k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.5-liter V8 was factory rated at 227 horsepower and 279 lb-ft of torque. The oil was changed in March 2025, and the fuel accumulator and pumps were replaced in preparation for the sale.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
The Carfax report is free from accidents or other reported damage.
