Lorde Kicks off 2025 “Ultrasound” Tour: Setlist + Video

Lorde kicked off her 2025 “Ultrasound” North American tour at Moody Center in Austin, Texas on Wednesday, September 17th, performing a variety of songs from her new album Virgin as well as cuts from her three other studio albums.

The first show of Lorde’s “Ultrasound” run was divided into four acts. As usual with her concert tours, Lorde provided stylized movements and captivating lighting to accompany her songs. She began the show with Virgin opener “Hammer,” singing the track from a raised platform as a single triangular beam of light shined on her; she performed Melodrama fan-favorite “Supercut” entirely from a treadmill, which appeared to increase in speed as she went through the song.

Lorde also reprised the same look from the “Man of the Year” music video for her rendition of the song, which she performed inside a small box onstage. She eventually came down in the crowd for penultimate track “David,” donned in a glowing jacket and parting the audience as she walked through the arena. The show concluded with another fan-favorite, “Ribs,” which she performed from the center of the crowd as opposed to the main stage.

Elsewhere in the setlist for Lorde’s first US concert in three years was the return of “No Better” from her debut album, which she played for the first time since 2014, as well as other early Lorde favorites like “Royals,” “Buzzcut Season,” and “Team.” She also performed five songs off Melodrama, including “Liability,” “Perfect Places,” “The Louvre,” and “Green Light,” and performed every song off of her new album Virgin. Notably absent was her 2021 LP Solar Power, of which she only performed two songs: “Big Star” and “Oceanic Feeling.” See the full setlist as well as fan-captured videos below.
