Footage: Nigel Mansell’s Last Pole Position in His F1 Career (1994 Australian Grand Prix)

Quite the exciting occasion as Nigel Mansell set provisional pole, only for Michael Schumacher to beat it in his Benetton (I have another video on that, if anyone's interested), and Mansell set out again, this time to claim the official pole position. He was going to achieve his final win and podium at the official race on Sunday. This wasn't enough to stop the German from claiming his first Drivers' Championship that year, however.

Annoyingly, a full view of the lap is interrupted by a replay of Mansell's (near?) collision with Benetton's Johnny Herbert, who spun.
