This 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is a Corvette Racing Yellow Tintcoat-finished coupe that has 2,700 miles and is one of 500 C7.R Edition examples produced for the US market as a homage to Corvette Racing C7.R race cars. Powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8 linked with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and an electronic limited-slip differential, the car was optioned with black leather and sueded microfiber upholstery, the 3LZ Premium Equipment Group, the Z07 Ultimate Performance Package, black 19″ and 20″ Z06 alloy wheels, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, a Z07 suspension, a rear spoiler, front curb-view parking cameras, heated and ventilated Competition Sport bucket seats, carbon-fiber interior trim, a performance data recorder, navigation, a head-up display, and a Bose sound system. This C7 Z06 was acquired by the selling dealer in 2024 and is now offered in Nebraska with a clean Carfax report and a clean Florida title.
The C7.R Edition was available in either Corvette Racing Yellow or black, and this example is finished in the former, and C7.R-specific trim includes a carbon-fiber ground effects package, an exposed carbon-fiber hood insert, and an exterior graphics package. Additional exterior details include xenon headlights, splitter end plates, front curb-view parking cameras, a rear spoiler with an adjustable wickerbill, and quad exhaust outlets.
Black-finished 19″ and 20″ Z06 alloy wheels feature yellow accent stripes and are mounted with Michelin tires. The car is equipped with a Z07 suspension in addition to Performance Traction Management and an Active Handling System. Stopping power is provided by yellow-finished Brembo brake calipers over drilled and ventilated carbon-ceramic rotors at each corner.
The cockpit features heated and ventilated Competition Sport bucket seats upholstered in black leather with sueded microfiber inserts and contrasting yellow stitching. Interior appointments include carbon-fiber trim, a head-up display, a Bose sound system, keyless-entry, a performance data recorder, C7.R-branded door sill plates, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a touchscreen infotainment system with navigation.
The sueded microfiber-wrapped multifunction steering wheel features paddle shifters and frames a 220-mph speedometer, a digital display with an integrated tachometer, and gauges for boost pressure and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 2,700 miles.
The supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8 is equipped with a dry-sump oil system and a multi-mode exhaust, and it was factory rated at 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic gearbox and an electronic limited-slip differential. A rear differential cooler was standard equipment from the factory.
